P45 Booster Series - P45R2000Booster-WiFi

Positioned as "X48 Junior", ASRock P45R2000Booster Series got almost everything you may find on X48 motherboard. Unlike other P45 motherboards on the market, ASRock P45R2000Booster-WiFi exclusively supports FSB2000MHz, DDR3 1333 & DDR2 1066, two PCIE2.0x16 slots (x16, x16) for CrossFire, Dual Gigabit LAN and Graphics Boost features.

PCIE2.0 over clocking capability (barrier @104MHz) is known to be one major drawback on P45 chipset, however, ASRock P45R2000Booster-WiFi unique Graphics Boost feature is capable of breaking this barrier and bring PCIE2.0 bus to higher speed to boost graphics performance.

P45 Series - P45R2000-WiFi

One of the P45 motherboards on the show this year is ASRock P45R2000-WiFi. ASRock P45R2000-WiFi is the only P45 MB which supports FSB2000 MHz (OC)! For memory supports, P45R2000-WiFi supports the exclusive DDR2 + DDR3 memory module. With DDR3 getting popular, ASRock P45R2000-WiFi is definitely the best flexible memory solution. Other than that, P45R2000-WiFi also supports the latest PCIE2.0 specification which can fully deliver PCIE2.0 VGA card performance. P43 Series - P43R1600Twins-WiFi

With PCIE2.0 VGA card replacing the PCIE1.0 VGA card gradually, only motherboard supports PCIE2.0 specification can fully deliver PCIE2.0 VGA card performance. ASRock P43R1600Twins-WiFi supports the latest PCIE2.0x16 specification which is better than the PCIE1.0x16 specification of P35 motherboard. P43R1600Twins-WiFi has also been proven 14% better than P35 reference board in graphics performance. In addition to graphics performance, this motherboard saves full time energy. When CPU is at idle mode, P43 MB can enter deeper sleep mode (C4 state) than P35 (can only enter C1e state) and save more energy. Even when system is off, ASRock P43 MB can save more energy than P35 Ref. MB because of the lower power consumption of +5VSB.

AMD Series - A780FullCrossFire, ODE790GX-WiFi

2 out of 12 pieces of AMD motherboards on show this time are A780FullCrossFire and ODE790GX-WiFi models. A780FullCrossFire is based on AMD 780V + SB700 chipsets, supports CrossFire™ and Hybrid CrossFireX™ features. It is designed with 2 PCIE 2.0 slots (x16, x1/x8, x8), Optical/SPIDF Out port, PCIE Gigabit LAN, eSATA2, Intelligent Energy Saver and all solid capacitors.

Another AMD chipset model is ODE790GX-WiFi, which is based on the latest AMD 790GX + SB750 chipsets. This new chipset supports the AMD's Over Drive Extreme Technology, which is a real boost to system performance. The ODE790GX-WiFi also supports the latest features like CrossFire™ and Hybrid CrossFireX™, 2 PCIE 2.0 slots (x16, x1/x8, x8), Optical/SPIDF Out port, ALC890 Audio Codec, PCIE Gigabit LAN, eSATA2, Intelligent Energy Saver and all solid capacitors. Besides, it even comes with the ASRock WiFi-802.11g Module and IEEE1394 function.
