How to execute ASRock Ind. Ind. instant flash?

There are two methods for updating the BIOS using Instant Flash.

Method 1:

Please refer to the following steps to flash BIOS under BIOS setup.

  1. Extract the BIOS ROM file and save into FAT32 format USB stick.
  2. Boot up system and press “F2” or “DEL” into BIOS setup page
  3. Select “Instant Flash“ in Advanced page.
  4. Instant Flash will automatically detect all devices and only list those BIOS versions which are suitable for your motherboard model
  5. Please choose the BIOS file to begin updating process.
  6. BIOS file is updating
  7. Press Enter after the procedure is done and reboot system.
  8. The BIOS update successfully after system reboot.

Method 2:

Please refer to the following steps press hotkey to execute Instant Flash at post screen.

  1. Extract the BIOS ROM file and save into USB disk (FAT32 format).
  2. Boot up system and press [F6] when you see this boot logo page.
  3. Please choose the BIOS file to begin updating process.
  4. Press Enter after the procedure is done to reboot system.
  5. The BIOS update successfully after system reboot.

Notice

The Flash Memory Writer utility can not be suitable for all ASRock Ind. motherboards. Please use the Flash utility which is included in each BIOS file to update its BIOS. Also ASRock Ind. motherboard MUST use ASRock's Flash utility to update BIOS, those uncertified BIOS flashing tools will cause motherboard damage.
If you encounter problems while updating the new BIOS, DO NOT turn off your system since this corrupt BIOS might cause your system failed to boot up. Just repeat the process, and if the problem still persists, update the original BIOS file. If the Flash Memory Writer utility was not able to successfully update a complete BIOS file, your system may not be able to boot up. If this happens, your system will need service.
