ASRock Upgrade series board has got lots of good feedback from the market since its debut. Up until now, ASRock has released three models, including K8Upgrade-1689, K8Upgrade-760GX, and K7Upgrade-880.Now, we are proud to announce our latest member of the Upgrade series line-up: K7Upgrade-600, an economy solution to bridge the gap between K7 and K8 platforms.

ASRock K7Upgrade-600 features "K8 Bridge Port", which provides a Flexible'n'Easy CPU socket upgrade solution. It enables users to upgrade from Socket A (462) to Socket754 through an add-on card - ASrock 754Bridge Card. Users can enjoy the cost-effective Socket A platform at the present stage and reserve the freedom of choice to adopt the stronger AMD Socket754 CPU in the future. Instead of discarding the original Socket A board to go for AMD Socket754 CPU, users can upgrade K7Upgrade-600 to Socket 754-ready platform by applying ASRock 754Bridge Card. The "K8 Bridge port" on board provides the interface between ASRock K7Upgrade-600 and ASRock 754Bridge Card, and thus offering users a flexible and cost-effective upgrade capability.

754Bridge Card is a socket754 upgrade module for ASRock K7Upgrade series motherboard's "K8 Bridge Port".
754Bridge Card contains socket754, two DDR DIMMs, and VIA® K8T800 chipset, which provides a quick upgrade capability from socket A to socket754 platform.
754Bridge Card with the orange-colored indication label is designed for the K7Upgrade Series motherboard with the orange-colored K8 Bridge Port.
