MCE Remote Controller

The Microsoft® MCE (Media Center Edition) function features an entire entertainment center which allows you to enjoy a more convenient way of viewing photos, playing DVDs, watching TV, listening to music, and so on. The MCE Remote Controller not only lets you enjoy the digital programs thoroughly but also allows you to power on/off the system more easily. The most important is that it is the world’s first MCE remote controller which is able to power on your PC from ACPI S5 mode.

Multi-Angle CIR Remote Receiver
The MCE Remote Controller operates with this exclusive Multi-Angle CIR Remote Receiver. The CIR Remote Receiver is able to receive the multi-direction infrared signal (top, down and front), which is compatible with most of the chassis on the market.

Free Gift - 3D Red/Cyan Anaglyph Glasses

Undoubtedly, "jump-out-of -the-screen" stereoscopic 3D technology is a rising trend in entertainment. In order to let our users experience 3D display in a simple way, ASRock specially provides a set of 3D Red/Cyan anaglyph glasses in our package.

3D Video Systems and 3D Viewing
3D video systems are designed to duplicate this real-world experience by providing each eye a unique version of the video. The 3D image is created by displaying a separate image for each eye. Objects in a 3D video might appear to be in front of or behind the screen. To view 3D video, the display technology and the corresponding 3D glasses insure that the left eye sees only the video meant for the left eye, and so on for the right eye.

Anaglyphic 3D
Mention 3D video, many people are of course familiar with 3D glasses, one red and one blue, cyan or green lens. The red/blue system is mainly used for traditional television and computer 3-D effects, and was used in older 3-D movies.
These glasses use the anaglyphic method of displaying a 3D image.
Anaglyph images are created by using color filters to remove a portion of the visible color spectrum from the image meant for each eye. When viewed through the color filters in the 3D glasses, each eye only sees the image that contains the portion of the color spectrum not filtered out by the lens. The disadvantage of Anaglyphic 3D is obvious; the overall image quality suffers as a large portion of the color spectrum is filtered out of the image for each eye.
HDMI™ (High-Definition Multimedia Interface)

This motherboard supports HDMI™ (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) which is an interface standard for transferring uncompressed video data and delivering multi-channel audio through a single cable. Both video and audio data signals transferred through the HDMI™ interface are digital without being converted into analog, therefore it delivers the richest pictures and the most realistic sounds.
AXTU - The All-in-1 Tuning Software

ASRock Extreme Tuning Utility (AXTU) is an all-in-one software to fine-tune different features in an user-friendly interface, which includes Hardware Monitor, Fan Control, Overclocking, OC DNA and IES. In Hardware Monitor, it shows the major readings of your system. In Fan Control, it shows the fan speed and temperature for you to adjust. In Overclocking, you are allowed to overclock the GT frequency which helps to boost up the graphics performance and some voltage settings for optimal system performance. In OC DNA, you can save your OC settings as a profile and share with your friends. Your friends then can load the OC profile to their own system to get the same OC settings. In IES (Intelligent Energy Saver), the voltage regulator can reduce the number of output phases to improve efficiency when the CPU cores are idle without sacrificing computing performance.
Graphical UEFI – The Revolutionary BIOS Interface

Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) is a revolutionary BIOS utility which offers tweak-friendly options in an advanced viewing interface. Compared with traditional BIOS design, the latest UEFI utility provides lots improved functions. The major features of UEFI include:
1. Graphical Visual Experience – UEFI provides an improved visual interface with colorful icons and makes your computing environment more versatile to replace the traditional dull BIOS page.
2. Mouse Enabling – Besides keyboard control, you can freely use mouse to select your ideal settings in UEFI as well.
3. Supports 3TB bootable HDD - UEFI breaks the limitations of 2TB bootable HDD on traditional BIOS. With UEFI, you can enjoy 3TB bootable HDD size.*

*Windows® Vista™ 64bit or Windows® 7 64bit OS is required.
